President Obama’s 2012 Budget for Violence Against Women programs

2009-2010 Legislative session wrap-up

Legislative business continued in September despite the record-setting budget impasse. Policymakers introduced a whopping 5,328 bills, resolutions, and constitutional amendments that resulted in 1,835 being chaptered in the law, 556 being vetoed by the governor, with the remainder dying off through legislative procedures.
